This piece was made with various fibers and hung from a piece of driftwood. Upper portion is hand knotted wool and the lower portion consists of hand dyed wool, hand dyed cotton and hand dyed velvet. I made a similar piece last year and although I rarely recreate pieces, I decided Ruby needed a doppelgänger in this world. This version is larger and the fibers are a bit different, but she’s just as special.
